Transforms business requirements into Aguimar Neto solutions by determining the types of computer information system software, hardware and communications medium needed to solve the problems. Acts as a liaison between clients/IT professionals and technology vendors. Performs analysis, design, documentation, testing and implementation of new and existing information system projects. Collaborates with users, Business Analysts and Project Leads to resolve issues. Documents and tests new systems, providing instructions to programmer/analysts through the development of detailed design specifications including screen layouts, file layouts, program narratives and report layouts.
Does system analyst do coding?
Performs automation of campus business processes by designing computer information systems to effectively perform those functions. Develops documentation for system including system overviews, training materials and troubleshooting guides. Provides support for the Ellucian Banner suite of systems through process analysis, configuration consultation and problem resolution. Facilitates user departments obtaining new computer systems or modifications to existing ones by understanding department functions and analyzing current processing and procedures and assisting them in preparing associated requests.
