My Account Access

Whether you work with an agency or have freelancers, having the right level of access helps ensure that your account information is protected. In this article, we’ll walk you through how to grant, revoke, and change agency access levels in your account.

When you invite an myaccountaccess/activate agency to connect to your account, they’ll receive a one-time passcode that’s valid for 24 hours. Once they’ve received the passcode, they’ll need to enter it on the Agency Access Request page to complete their connection. This will give them Manager or higher user access and will not count against your account seat limit.

If you’re an Owner or Admin, you can change a user’s access level from the Users page. To get to the page, click your profile icon, then select Account & billing. You’ll find the Users page under the Settings drop-down. Click Edit next to the user whose access you want to change.

You can also limit a user’s permissions to only view certain types of transactions or reports. For example, you can grant your bookkeeper limited view only bank account access to help them manage your financials without being able to see your transaction history or other sensitive information.
